Twenty one days until the first day of Fall and oh my goodness am I looking forward to the day. This summer has been so incredibly hot. We have had almost 59 days of 100 degree or more weather in this city. We were blessed with a 60 degree morning today and I overslept so I didn't even experience the refreshing dawn. Labor Day is coming up this weekend and so returns the heat, of course. I expect we will get some sprinkles this weekend as the high pressure ridge gas moved away for now. I am so looking forward to rain, any rain. Twenty one days and counting...
